The
cube is made up of sixty-four batons of African Walnut. Every eight batons
make up a square on each side of which is painted a self-portrait showing
one of twenty different emotions. The pieces of wood can be pushed or pulled
in and out by the viewer.
Everyone is searching for peace of mind but rarely does one enjoy a perfect
balance of emotions for any length of time. Therefore the cube representative
of the mind, is in constant flux. As emotions change, the batons are moving
out of a perfect cube shape. Any positive emotion might have some share
of a negative one and vice versa. Though only the six main emotions are
visible on the surface of the cube, another fourteen are hidden inside
and are being invisibly triggered by the change. |
